Original 1950s British Army Officer's Poplin Cotton Shirt Size 15 1/2

An original British Army officer's shirt which was made during the 1950s. 

This type of shirt was very popular with British Officer's during the 1950s and 1960s. It is made from poplin cotton and features two pleated breast pockets are located to the chest and the collar is a spearpoint shape which was popular during the 1940s and early 1950s. Epaulettes are located to the shoulders and the sleeves fasten with a barrel cuff. 

The shirt will suit a 40" - 42" chest depending on desired fit and when laid flat it measures - 

Chest - 23 1/2"
Inside arm - 22 1/2"
Outside arm - 24 1/2"
Shoulders - 17 1/4"
Length - 33 1/2"
Collar - 15 1/2"

The shirt is in good condition with some limited signs of wear and age. Overall it looks to be very wearable and it displays well but please take time to study the pictures before purchasing. 

A nice original British shirt which is typical of the era.
