An original First World War Royal Engineers slip-on cloth shoulder title, this particular example is of the later war mercerised cotton type which began replacing the melton type from September 1917.

On the rear is a cotton strip with pinked edges so that it can be worn on the epulette.

This is a vintage item which is 'sold as seen'
