About this item
An original British 8th Army embroidered badge which has been made into a 'slip-on' shoulder title.
The badge features the white shield with yellow cross against a black field which has been fitted with two khaki coloured cotton drill loops to the reverse to allow them to be worn on the epaulettes of a shirt or battledress, depending on the temperature which was very changeable in the Western Desert as well as later in Tunisia and Italy.
A very nice original badge which would make a great addition to any collection.
