Scarlet single breasted doublet . Black high collar with gilt braid and gimp piping ,Bullion embroidery Regimental collar badges . Black gauntlet cuffs with gilt edging and gimp lines . Brass Kings crown Kings Own Scottish Borderers buttons to the front ,cuffs , rear and front tails . Gilt cord shoulder straps with Lieutenant rank stars .Cream silk lining . Owners tailors label dated 1908 now loose .Some service wear and minor stains mainly to the lining .Good early attributed example
