About this item
Green rough texture painted dome crown with lower black fibre rim . Lining secured by 4 nuts the same as the 1st pattern Airborne helmet .Brown leather front crash pad and sweatband dated "1942" . linen webbing crown liner straps. Leather ear flaps with cotton lining . rear lace fastening . Leather chinstrap . Some minor service wear to the exterior . One leather ear flap with some minor damage. Complete with original fitted camouflage netting cover . Hard to get an earlier dated helmet in this condition.
This is the same pattern shell as the 1st pattern Airborne Parachute troops helmet
