WW2 RAF LANCASTER - Heavy bomber aircraft R1155 radio set

WW2 RAF LANCASTER/BOMBER AIRCRAFT R1155 RADIO SET. Standard radio set found in most RAF heavy bomber aircraft during WW2. Also used in ground stations and with RAF air-sea rescue motor launches. 

This example looks to be in pretty good condition, without any major damage or modifications. These radios are often messed about with by radio enthusiasts, But this example appears to be untouched. There is some light oxidation to the case, but it retains most of its original black finish. To the front, the knobs, switches, and dials are all freely moving and without damage. There would have been a data tag to the front, but this is sadly missing; it would have had the model type and been marked A.M.

Inside the radio, we have tried to take some photos to show the condition. It does not look like there have been any modifications made to the radio, and there is no apparent damage. There are some missing valves, but otherwise it looks to be in good condition. 

Overall, not a bad radio at all, ideal for any WW2 RAF museum, display, or collection. The radio is on the heavier side, so postage is a tad higher. Collection is more than welcome.
