WW2 RAF MK8 FLYING GOGGLES, COMPLETE BOXED. A fantastic possibly unissued pair of these classic wartime MK8 flying goggles. Also used and worn by USAAF pilots during WW2.
A lovely pair of boxed goggles, complete with spare tinted lenses and De-mist kit tin. They come complete in the original transit box, marked on the box, "GOGGLES MKVIII", also with stores reference number 22C/930. The goggles themselves show very little wear at all, with little to no paint rubbing on the frames. The leather face pad is in good condition too, showing very little soiling if any. The strap is again very clean with no damage, still retaining very good elasticity. The tinted lenses are also in excellent condition, very clear, and not delaminated. Finally, the demist tin completes the set, the only issue we can see is the cardboard pieces that hold the tinted lenses and demist tin are absent. Otherwise a very nice, clean set of these iconic RAF MK8 flying goggles. Overall perfect for any RAF museum, collection or display.
