About this item
A good original pair of British Army MT goggles and box as worn by drivers, tank crews, dispatch riders and more, throughout the Second World War.
These goggles appear to be un-issued and un-worn. The strap is still the deep blue-grey colour and retains its elasticity but the lenses have suffered from delamination. Reproduction lenses are available and if fitted would make these a very usable pair. The leatherwork is also very good and the metalwork is sound.
The goggles come complete with their original brown coloured hardboard box which is also in reasonable condition for its age.
Overall, a reasonably good pair of goggles which could suit either a reenactor or collector well.
This is a vintage item which is 'sold as seen'
