About this item
An original pair of British Army MT goggles and box as worn by drivers, tank crews, dispatch riders and more throughout the Second World War.
The condition of the goggles is good; the strap retains a good amount of its original elasticity and the leather work is in good condition with some signs of wear and use. The metal frames are good with a lot of their original plated finish. There are cracks to the lenses however which has been reflected in the price. Modern reproduction replacements are available online.
The goggles come complete with their original brown coloured hardboard box which is also in reasonable condition for its age.
Overall, a reasonably good pair of goggles complete with case.
