About this item
An original pair of British Army MT goggles and box as worn by drivers, tank crews, dispatch riders and more, throughout the Second World War.
These goggles are the early pattern with the grey coloured stockinette sides as opposed to the later leather examples. They feature clear lenses which are more sought-after than the tinted type in the present day.
The condition of the goggles is reasonable and they display well. The lenses show only limited signs of delamination and the strap has lost most of its elasticity. There is a slight twist to the centre where the two halves meet although this does not affect how they function.
A good pair of WW2 goggles with the sought-after clear lenses.
