WW2 RAF MK8 FLYING GOGGLES, BOXED. A fantastic possibly unissued pair of these classic wartime MK8 flying goggles. Also used and worn by USAAF pilots during WW2.
A lovely pair of boxed goggles comes with additional tinted lenses but unfortunately no De-mist kit tin. They come in the original transit box, marked on the box, "GOGGLES MKVIII", also with stores reference number 22C/930. The goggles themselves show very little wear at all, with little to no paint rubbing on the frames. The leather face pad is in good condition too, showing very little soiling if any. Marked on the chamois with red ink inspection stamp. The head strap is again very clean with no damage, still retaining very good elasticity. The tinted lenses are also in excellent condition, very clear, and not delaminated. All that is needed is a demist tin to complete the set. Otherwise a very nice, clean set of these iconic RAF MK8 flying goggles. Overall perfect for any RAF museum, collection, or display.
