About this item

WW2 RAF MKVII FLYING GOGGLE TINTED SUNSCREEN. A nice example of the rare MKVII flying goggle sunscreen. As used and worn by RAF and USAAF pilots during WW2.

The rare flip-down sunscreen is in excellent condition; there are some minor surface scratches, etc, but the screen is not cracked or split anywhere. There is some light surface oxidation to the metal fitting, but otherwise it is in excellent condition. The sunscreen moves freely on a set of goggles and would finish off a set very nicely.

A very nice, clean sunscreen ideal for fitting to your RAF MKVII flying goggles. Rare to find on their own. Overall, perfect for any RAF museum, collection, reenactor, or display.
