About this item
WW2 RAF MKVII FLYING GOGGLES. A nice pair of these classic wartime MKVII flying goggles. Also used and worn by USAAF pilots during WW2.
A lovely pair of goggles fitted with clear lenses. The goggles themselves show little wear, with some minor paint rubbing and losses to the frames. The leather face pad is in good condition too, showing some wear and soiling from use. The leather nose section is again in good condition without issues. Stamped on the nose bridge with stores reference number 22C/826, and A.M. crown. The head strap is again clean with no damage, still retaining some elasticity. The goggles are fitted with their original clear laminated lenses.
Overall a very nice, clean set of these iconic RAF MKVII flying goggles. Overall perfect for any RAF museum, collection, reenactor, or display.
