About this item
47) Vintage Indian Made Rectangular Tin For 5 X No36 Mills Grenade Detonators. This was purchased as WW2 and is marked D40 to the base which is apparently the date. Never seen one before although had many of the round version over the years. A little research seems to show that this is actually Indian made and 3-09 is a packing date for March 2009? Not 100% sure on this one. The tin is is good order. All stencilled writing is good and clear. It has markings stamped into the metal. The top markings look to say "USA 2008". The bottom look to read "USA1 2008, Box D40".
