About this item
A nice example of a completely inert French Modèle 1914 (M1914) spherical hand grenade body with partial brass fuse from the First World War.
This is an amazing trench warfare piece consisting of the cast-iron ball body and its original, removable brass screw-in friction fuse.
The iron body shows authentic age-related spots of rust and light pitting due to age of the item. The metal body has been left entirely original and untouched. The brass fuse is in good condition and is clearly stamped with a wartime factory/arsenal letter either U or O as I can’t determine due to the age-related wear on the brass fuse. The brass fuse is missing part of top ignitor component. The item is completely inert and 100% safe for display.
This is an age restricted item. PROOF OF AGE MUST BE PROVIDED. U.K Sales ONLY
