About this item
A nice example of an original WW2 British No.69 Grenade, 1940 dated and totally INERT. This grenade was designed and adopted into service due to the need for a grenade with a smaller destructive than the No.36 Mills Bomb Grenade in service at the time. It didn’t have a standard time delay fuse, instead it had an instant impact fuse which meant when it struck any hard surfaces/ objects it would instantly explode on impact. This example is marked No.69. I, 1940 DLR, which makes it rare with this date and manufacturers mark. Overall, this is in excellent condition, retains some of the original markings on the outside and every component is present.
This is an age restricted item. PROOF OF AGE MUST BE PROVIDED. U.K Sales ONLY
