Awarded to Private Ophir Carter of the 11th London Regiment a Silver Wound Badge recipient. British War Medal & Victory Medal (452762 PTE. O. CARTER. 11-LOND. R.). Born in Dedham in Essex. He enlisted in Lambeth, London on the 5th June 1916 seeing service in the French Theatre of Operations. Private Ophir Carters medicals record reports that sometime in June of 1917 he is recorded is being a shell shocked casualty. Pair is his only medal entitlement. (with copy MIC, SWB roll & service papers).
