Medal group of Flight Sergeant Maurice John Newman a Navigator killed on a flight test February 1946
1939/45 Star, France & Germany Star, Defence Medal, War Medal. Complete with original ribbons, and wax paper envelopes.
Medal forwarding condolence forwarding certificate. Typed name FLIGHT SERGEANT M J NEWMAN.
Contained in original forwarding box original typed address W J NEWMAN of Bristol.
Father’s WW1 Medal Pair.
British War Medal Victory Medal awarded to “024317 PTE W J NEWMAN A.O.C”
Complete with original silk ribbons and forwarding box.
Flight Sergeant Maurice John Newman a Navigator was killed whist serving with 115 Squadron on the 21st February 1946. His aircraft Avro Lancaster III, PB373 during an air test lost rapid height and exploded in mid-air. All the 7 man crew were killed.
