105) Excellent Early Post War Officers Peaked Cap To The Northumberland Fusiliers. A lovely looking cap with its original Northumberland Fusiliers cap badge and side buttons. There is one tiny surface moth nip to the front peak but very minor (see photos). All is very nice and clean. The inside is excellent with just minor dirt to the sweatband from use. The peak has one small surface moth nip as shown in the photos. The inside maker is marked as "By Appointment to the late H.M. King George VI". so must date to around 1952 as soon after they marked them to "HM The Queen". It seems to be quite small, around a 6 1/2.
