About this item
Green khaki painted crown with lower rolled edge brim. The rear of the helmet with period painted yellow disk .Black treated linen liner ,Early pattern oval rubber crown pad .The frame with Maker and faint date 1939 . Sprung webbing chinstrap . Some service wear, paint chips and minor rusting but a good untouched helmet.Unusual in the fact the disk is painted to the rear of the helmet.
