1941 Dated British Army Slouch Hat worn by a Pioneer Officer. Worn by British and Commonwealth troops in the Far East Theatre of war. In a thick felt material. Minor moth. Manufacturers stamp to leather sweatband 'Hall & Phillips Ltd', size 6 5/8, dated 1941 with War Department stamp P (code for 1941) over W.D. Officers plastic Pioneer Corps hat badge with blades to the rear.
