A very nice example of a King’s Crown Royal Navy Petty Officer’s Cap.
The Cap is in overall very good condition, the navy blue wool to the brim and sides completely from moth or damage. The mohair hatband has a small area of surface rubbing to the side of the hand embroidered bullion badge. A patent leather chinstrap sits against the green backed peak, both in very good condition.
Inside, the leather sweatband in undamaged but has lost some stitching at one side and a full size celluloid protector insert remains in place beneath which is the makers logo.
Approximately a size 7.
