About this item
Interwar Period Unusual Foreign Service Campaign Helmet.
One of the more unusual examples I have seen.
The helmet is light weight with quilted light khaki covering, similar to what you find on a Bombay Bowler.
The interior with original leather sweatband and matching leather chinstrap.
Complete with original khaki cover tailored with peak and neck flap.
Overall VGC.
Possibly used in India or in East and West Africa.
