WW2 British 1st Pattern Fibre Dispatch Riders Helmet .

Green painted fibre dome crown .Brown Leather ear flaps and neck panel with cotton lining . Leather chinstrap .Brown leatherete sweatband marked with maker "Empire"  . webbing crown liner straps. The linining secured to the helmet with correct edge lacing . Some very minor service wear to the exterior . Hard to get an early pattern helmet in this condition.Used by Dispatch riders and early Glider pilots.
