About this item
81) Excellent Original WW1 French Soldier Of The Great War 1914-1918 Helmet Plate. In good order just a little dirty and out of shape with age. These were worn by veterans to the front rim of the Adrian helmet. The space in the cartouche above the writing was for the soldier to ad his name, rank, unit etc. More often than not these were left blank.
