About this item
High-confidence identification of a Rhodesian African Rifles (RAR) cap badge in white metal. Made by firmin London. The badge features a traditional Nguni shield with crossed assegais and a central knobkerrie, flanked by curved scrolls reading “RHODESIAN” and “RIFLES”, with “AFRICA” on the lower scroll. This design is characteristic of RAR insignia worn during the Rhodesian era. Construction, detailing, and finish are consistent with period issue examples.
