For sale is a WW2 Period British East Yorkshire Regiment Slider Cap Badge.
The East Yorkshire Regiment was a line infantry regiment of the British Army, first raised in 1685 as Sir William Clifton's Regiment of Foot. It served for over three centuries before being amalgamated with the West Yorkshire Regiment in 1958 to form the Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire. The East Yorkshire Regiment participated in numerous campaigns and conflicts, including the West Indies, the Afghan War, the Boer War, World War I, and World War II.
