About this item
A seemingly unissued example of a George V1 (1936-1952) Other Ranks Royal Engineers Service Dress Cap.
Constructed in navy blue wool with red piping the Cap is in very good condition with just three small moth nips to the piping.
The Badge is in gilded brass with a white metal wreath of laurel leaves above the Royal Engineer’s banner. Above the green backed peak is a patent leather chinstrap secured by two general service buttons.
Inside, the cap shows no signs of use, the leather sweatband, perfect.
A very nice example.
