About this item
An original front seam swivel loop, WWII era M1 helmet, with a post-war painted 29th ID insignia by a previous owner. The heat stamp on the helmet shell looks to read “100G” but is also partially illegible. This helmet also comes with a liner bearing a marking on the inside reading “M-173." This particular M1 is a bit weathered, as there is chipping and bits of rust on the shell, and the canvas webbing in the liner is damaged. Please contact us with any questions!
