Heer Officer's M43 Field Cap

A very good example of an Officer's M43 Field Cap (Einheitsfeldmutze M43) in a good displayable size 58 and constructed in a field grade wool.
The brim of the cap is finished with the silver twisted aluminium wire piping of an officer whilst the insignia is the factory applied BeVo weave trapezoid, slightly detached to one side.
Inside, the cap is lined in a grey cotton with the correct half leather sweatband which, although not disenable is stamped with the identifiable mark of the octagonal, “Qualitats Marke” seen on such caps.
The side flaps are held in place by two grey pebbled buttons.
Overall condition is very good with no moth or other damage
