About this item
Although perhaps best described as an entry level or wearable example this RAF Officer’s Cap by Hawkes has a very dark green underside to the peak and a King’s Crown cap badge.
Overall appearance is very good but there is moth damage behind the Cap Badge which would be completely obscured from view with the badge stitched back in place at the top. In addition, there is a V shaped cut in the sweatband with the leather missing and some loss the sweatband stitching.
The displays very well and is about a size 56 cms.
