About this item
A very nice example of a Luftwaffe Officer's Fliegermütze (Officer’s side or overseas cap) tailored in a whipcord Tricot material of the type generally associated with wear by officers
Each side panel is finished with the silver aluminium braid of an officer, while the second pattern eagle and rosette are machine embroidered in a cotton thread.
Lined with an undamaged blue/ grey rayon showing light use only and stamped with the size which appears to be 56 ½.
Overall appearance of the cap is very good with just two very small moth nips at the back of the Cap.
