About this item
A rare original Canadian made Khaki Drill Royal Air Force Forage cap in excellent condition.
These khaki drill forage caps are uncommon to find today and were presumadly made to be worn with khaki drill uniform. This example is devoid of any markings but the black lining and general high quality would suggest that this was made in Canada. The front of the cap features two brass RAF kings crown buttons whilst a brass kings crown RAF cap is fitted to the side of the cap. This has tarnished with age making it look almost like a bronze example, but the rear confrims it is indeed a standard brass example.
The cap is roughly a size 7 1/8.
A rare original wartime cap which would make an excellent addition to any RAF collection!
