Welsh Guards Bearskin Cap

For sale here is a Welsh Guards Officer's Bearskin cap, in excellect condition and shape, this example probably dates from the 1950's, althought there are no markings or dates, officer's bearskin caps like this are very hard to come by and are made to a higher standard than those of the enlisted variety, being made from the underbelly fur of the bear, thus being softer and less corse, they are slightly higher/taller than the enlisted man's version. Comes complete with chinscales in brass and the distinctive, white green and white feather plume held in place with a small leather pocket and a brass ring and hook attachment to the top of the plume.
