WW2 RAF OFFICERS SERVICE DRESS PEAKED CAP. A very nice condition WW2 period RAF officers service dress peaked cap.
The cap is in lovely condition for its age, we cannot see any moth damage to the cap. No other issues or damage to the blue material. The cap with a lovely guilt badge, still retaining good vibrant colour. the strap also in good condition, with some light crazing to the black finish. Both strap buttons also in place and with cloth covering. Inside we find the cap with minimal wear, the sweatband in good lightly worn condition. The cap is marked and named, SAVAGE, 1985 SQD. Unresearched by us, but definitely scope for further research here. Size wise we estimate this to be approximately a size 56-57 UK hat size. Overall a lovely cap, ideal for any RAF collection, display or museum.
