About this item
9) A really very nice Victorian traveling mirror and cover. not a military issue item but certainly one which would have been purchased by British officers and would not look out of place in with their personal kit. The black leather covered cover is good but does show surface wear and edge wear. it has a few small insect nibbles. a good polish with boot polish would bring it up nicely. The mirror pulls out smoothly and is in nice order. it shows minor loss to the mirroring to the edges but mostly excellent. the padded leather backing is good but a gain a polish would bring it up well. it has a nice fold out stand which works well. the outer case measures 5 3/4 inches X 4 inches
