    An original embroidered First World War period East Kent Regiment (Buffs) slip-on shoulder title. 

    Introduced in April 1916 to conserve metal and phased out fairly quickly when the war ended, these titles are very distinctive of the later First World War period.

    The rear of the badge features a woven strip to allow the badge to be worn on the epaulette.
