    About this item

An original Air Raid Precautions badge dating from 1938.

This pattern of badge was issued to members of the ARP during the late 1930s as well as in the Second World War. This example was made in 1938 by J.C. - Sir John Herbert McCutcheon Craig (1885-1977) - Deputy Master and Comptroller of the Royal Mint from 1938, as is evident by the hallmarks which are found to the reverse of the badge.

In good condition and ready to be displayed or worn.
