About this item
A good First World War military kukri, of regimental pattern.
Traces of black paint to the hardwood grip, which has single central grip ring with twin decorative rings.
The black leather scabbard of military pattern, shows signs of having had provision in the rear for chakmak and karda .Sadly these are all absent. Scabbard with the beginnings of an edge split and with an old cord repair.
The blade with double spine fullers is in good condition, with signs of old corrosion, light pitting, old grease and grime to the blade. Signs of sharpening. Once tidied up it should present very well.
The grip and blade are firm. Small crack and chips to the wooden grip. A small amount of movement in the bolster. Iron pommel plate with pitting.
Blade length 12 inches, 15.5 inches overall.
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
