A WW1 period military issue kukri, in need of some serious love and attention.
The 12 inch blade covered in active rust on both sides. Steel bolster likewise. Hardwood grip holding firm, with no movement. Minor chips and cracks, crowned with a steel butt bap which has been peened over the tang. Overall length 16 inches.
Housed in its original leather covered wooden scabbard, retaining its pockets and pouch holder. Generally holding firm, but with splits and old repairs.
A tired looking kukri, but not beyond redemtion, for those wishing to put in the time and effort.
