    About this item

An untouched Dutch/Netherlands Klewang Short Sword/Sidearm.

This example produced by Hemburg, and was captured and converted by Japanese Invasion Forces during WW2.

The grips are of hardwood, with a curved steel cross guard, which is now slightly loose.

17.75 inch single fullered curved blade with traces of the original blued finish, underneath the old rust and grime. There is a crowned "H" makers marking at the ricasso, and "Hemburg" to the other. The cutting edge shows signs of service sharpening, and edge nicks.

Complete with its original brass mounted leather scabbard. The throat has its original leather hanger tab. Some old scuffs, but sound condition.

Direct from an attic, and in accordingly solid but  slightly grubby condition, likely a souviner bring back.

Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
