Early production M3 Fighting Knife with the blade being maker marked and dated, US M3 CAMILLUS.
Produced between March 1943 and July 1944 the Knife is in very good condition, the blade clearly marked to Camillus ( Camillus Cutlery), never sharpened and without damage. The compressed leather grip and pommel plate are both also very good, the pommel plate with the flaming grenade of the Ordnance Corporation impressed
Standard pattern M8 Scabbard by B M.Co with a green cotton web belt loop and pommel strap all in very good condition but with the belt hook removed, possibly with the intention of the belt loop only being used. Leather leg tie is in place.
