An interesting WW2 US M3 guard marked fighting knife by Camillus.
The guard marked "US M3 Camillus". Correct leather stacked grip with twin pinned pommel marked with the flaming bomb.
Good lightly sharpened blade with lots of original finish.
Housed in its original M8 scabbard, which has had its webbing period replaced with a sturdy leather belt loop, and retaining buckle.
Purchased with the effects of a British Airborne soldier, so likely a British modification?
