Royal Long Service & Good Conduct. (Vic). (E.J. RIDDLES. P.O. 1CL. H.M.S. BULWARK). Awarded to Edwin John Riddles Petty Officers 1st Class. Born 10th November 1869 in Liskeard, Cornwall. Joining the Royal Navy on the 5th January 1885 he served on his first ship HMS Lion a naval training ship based at Devonport. He was awarded his Royal Navy Long Service & good Conduct in June 1903 noted in naval service record. He went on to serve in World War One with the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Edwin John Riddles C.P.O. retired in August 1922. (with copy service record and research).
