About this item
An original Royal Air Force 1945 dated 1941 pattern Mae West Life Jacket bladder which is in good condition.
These bladders were fitted inside the 1941 pattern Mae West and it is made from an oatmeal coloured rubber and features a cloth covered tube and metal mouthpiece. Various stamps are present including the War Department broad arrow marking along with the date of August 1945. The RAF 22c stores reference is also present.
The bladder is in good condition and is still good and pliable. There are some signs of age but overall it displays very well with no notable flaws or damage. Please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that it is a vintage, pre-worn item which may have small flaws commensurate with age.
A nice original example which will make an excellent addition to a Mae West.
