FOOTNOTEEdward Richard Pryer was born in Camberwell, London, the son of J. R. Pryer, who was employed as a Political Agent. Pryer resided in Portsmouth, and served during the Great War with the 1st Hampshire Brigade, Royal Field Artillery (T.F.). He died in Hampshire in 1979
