A Kriegsmarine used Erma 1940 produced example of the Leuchtpistole 34 a single shot, break action, smoothbore, flare gun, deactivated in 2023 to current specifications.
Constructed in steel and Duralium it remains in very good condition and does break but with the hammer is welded in place. It cannot therefore be cocked, and pressure is needed to close the barrel, a consequence of the deactivation process. In addition, various owners have scratched their names onto the barrel.
What makes this piece unusual is the clear Kriegsmarine North Sea inventory number applied the back grip strap and a WaA stamped leather lanyard.
Accompanied by its correct Deactivation Certificate it is available to UK BUYERS ONLY of 18 years or above. PLEASE NOTE, the wooden stand is NOT included
