RARE BOAC Airline Engineer Officer gilt and enamel brevet uniform badge

This a rare original circa 1940's early pattern 'British Overseas Airways Corporation Engineer Officer badge' and two uniform buttons.

It is a gilt brass brevet wing the central 'E' inlaid with blue enamel and surmounted by an Astral Crown. Very good condition, complete with original two loop fittings complete with split pin and unusually the back plate.
Width 51mm.

There is wear to the gilt on the wings and on the left hand side of the E is a tiny piece of damage to the enamel. Hence the lower price
