    German Army woven sleeve shield to Turkistan volunteers, being a vertical oval of green-blue with a white border, in the upper arc, aslo in white, the words "BiZ ALLA Bilen." In the lower portion a mosque or arched gateway with two small flanking towers and a large central tower, all in white and pale blue, the domed roof of the large tower with additional detail of dark blue stripes. Across the archway the word "TURKISTAN" also in dark blue.
    Worn on the sleeve by volunteers from the Russian province of Turkestan serving with the German Army.
    The oval shaped BeVo weave construction remains in very good condition whilst the rayon background shows distress bordering the oval badge.
