About this item
A small, high-polish silver commemorative honour goblet in tumbler form, engraved with the initials “V.L.G.”, the date 9.11.1939, and the inscription “Ihre Liebe” (“Your Love” in German), indicating a personalised dedication. While it does not follow the design of the official Luftwaffe Ehrenpokal der Deutschen Luftwaffe (Honour Goblet of the German Air Force), the date and style are consistent with early WWII personal presentation pieces. These were often given by comrades, family, or units as private recognition of service, promotions, or deployments. The form and simplicity suggest this was not state-issued, but rather a heartfelt personal or regimental gift. Crescent moon and 2 stars, 835 silver content ,WTB makers mark
